Turns out, we LOVE hospitals.

When we were approaching Rayna’s birth, we listened to EVERYONE.  Advice poured in, and some of it was solid.  Most people were very supportive of whatever we said we wanted, even when I said I wanted to give birth at home.  Through some under covering blessings, we decided in early August to change plans and plan to have the birth at Good Sam.  And as all the smiling faces above can attest, it was a good choice.  The nurses were awesome, the food was edible, and the security of having knowledgeable professionals at the push of a button was awesome.  Did I mention the night nurse watched newborn Rayna for a couple of hours each night so that I got to sleep?  Amazing.  Thanks to all who came to visit and to everyone who didn’t make me feel bad for flip flopping on hospital birth.  It all worked out!
